Belgium's a strange place. You don't get ice with your soda, the locals put mayonaise on just about everything and for the most part driving is about as laid back as being in a doorless room with a hungry pit bull. That being said, there are some other things about Belgium (and Europe in general) that are going to take some getting used to. For instance, our apartment has about as much storage space as cereal box - and we all know how many clothes Meghin likes to wear. But besides that, our new apartment will certainly do the trick for the next year or two. We'll have to embrace the spirit of smallness, and maybe take it a step further and get a smartcar!
Oh yeah...and furnished doesn't really mean furnished here. You get a smattering of furniture and the bare essentials which meant a trip to IKEA was well served.
Bottom line, we're in baby!

PS: Meghin's clean button has been going off like a car alarm and it's intensified due to her inability to locate the typical household cleaning supplies she's used to. More on that later.
